The Blue Horse – Hand in Hand for the Region

Traditionally, the topic of charity has always been a particular focus at all equestrian tournaments organized by the Linsenhoff-Rath family, alongside the sporting events. For the International Festhalle Equestrian Tournament in Frankfurt, the life-sized Purple Horse has been the annual charity ambassador since 2016. Together with partners, sponsors, and visitors of the tournament, the connection to the people in the region is demonstrated, and selected local projects are supported annually for which donations are collected during the tournament. This beautiful tradition is now meant to also take place at the International S.D. Fürst Joachim zu Fürstenberg Memorial Tournament in Donaueschingen this year. For this occasion, the life-sized Blue Horse initially took up residence at the Schafhof in Kronberg before making its way south to the tournament in Donaueschingen. The motto for the Blue Horse Charity Campaign is Hand in Hand for the Region. Thus, the Blue Horse will collect donations on the occasion of the CHI Donaueschingen in the source city of the Danube, which will be used for the projects of the Fürstin-Milana Foundation. Especially in the current crisis-ridden times with noticeable impacts on our collective lives and interactions, supportive and heartfelt cooperation is of utmost importance. Let us set an example together and do good hand in hand for the region!

Fürstin-Milana Foundation Commitment from Tradition and Responsibility

The Fürstin-Milana Foundation stands for sustainable social commitment and is dedicated to supporting people in difficult life situations. Under the patronage of Fürstin Massimiliana zu Fürstenberg, the foundation particularly focuses on promoting and supporting the Interest Group for Multiple Sclerosis Sufferers Donaueschingen e.V. (IMSED). A central project is the House Antonius in Donaueschingen, which was expanded through the generous support of the Fürstin-Milana Foundation. The foundation, among other things, financed the construction of a new elevator, the modernization of the facilities, and the acquisition of urgently needed medical equipment. These measures significantly help to sustainably improve the quality of life for residents suffering from multiple sclerosis and to enable them to live with dignity. Besides its commitment to the IMSED, the princely family supports numerous other social projects. This includes, for example, the hospice 'Sternschnuppenbande,' which provides a place of peace and security for seriously ill children and their families. Supporting these institutions is an expression of the family's deep conviction that every person has the right to dignity and humanity, regardless of their life situation.
