History of the CHI Donaueschingen
Since its premiere in 1954, the CHI Donaueschingen has been closely linked to the Princely House of Fürstenberg. It has been established as an international equestrian event since 1965 and has attracted numerous renowned riders. Highlights of its 70-year history included the organization of the CHIO of the Federal Republic of Germany in 1986 and the European Show Jumping Championships in 2003. The future of the tournament under the direction of Matthias Alexander Rath promises new splendor and continuity.
